i've suddenly created an obsession for several makeup and beauty trends this winter
1. purple and lavender nails
i've gotten all crazy over purple nails i dunno why and my current colour in my current rave is the la. Girl metallic nail series in the colour millenium :) cheap and long lasting.
2. nude lips
i am a huge fan of nude lips and have several nude lipsticks from mac and revlon and my recommendation as from many other makeup gurus too will be the Revlon colour burst lipstick in soft nude. and another personal fav is the makeupstore lipstick in BAby.
3. peachy blushes
i love peachy blushes for the natural looking glow and i strongly recommend BYS mineral blush in Gentle pink and also my personal fav Inglot pan blush in the shade 20.
4. purple smoky eyes
i love being a lil different from the norm thus i love purple smoky eyes more than the traditional black ones :) i use several purple shades to achieve my purple smoky eyes and i highly recommend Inglot eyeshadows as they come in a variety of colours and has great pigmentation

i'm just your average girl who works hard loves to shop and enjoys fashion and makeup a lot.. nobody is perfect and so am i but i try to be the best i can. in life it is important to be positive about everything so why hate me when you can choose to love me ?? I graduated with a masters in journalism and aspire to be a beauty journalist one day. feel free to read my blog about random things in my life, makeup and fashion.

my hair care products
its been a while i've pretty much been busy with uni n my work stuff but now i have the time to blog again :) ok so these are the products that i use on my hair. my hair is sometimes dry or oily depending and also coloured. :) i use several products that are used on a daily basis while some are treatments used as special hair care products and some are just normal styling products ok let's get started..

1. for daily shampooing i use schwarzkopf bona cure shampoo for coloured hair )2nd from the left). $16 purchased on strawberry.net and in my opinion this shampoo is alright nothing to great and honestly i've tried better commercial brand shampoos such as sunsilk. i also noticed that this product dries out my hair.. but i do love the other bona cure products that i've tried in the past
2. for daily conditioning i use the berry vitamin shampoo (3rd from right) it smells great and works great but i prefer my other conditioner
3. for special treatment i do change to a different conditioner and i use this aprox. 1-2 times in a week.. it's the bed head conditioner (2nd from right) as u can see it is the moisture maniac and smells great like peaches. it's a lil pricey $16 for a tiny bottle but its worth every penny and i highly recommend it.
4. i use schwarzkopf intensive hair care treatment as my leave in conditioner. it's a good and cheap treatment to keep hair from being dry especially before and after styling with hot styling tools. highly recommend this too everyone too (1st from left)
5. and finally when i get lazy and want to give my hair a rest i usually use the loreal spray in conditioner which is a good alternative to the dry shampoo. this product does wonders it is just spray it on and gives u the feeling of clean washed hair :) its cheap and is a must have in every girls hair care product collection
i do have many other hair care products in my collection and will hopefully do a review on them soon so just keep looking out for that
